‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Show execs on Klaus’ big move, family reunion
On Monday night’s new episode of “The Originals,” you are going to see something that has basically been in the making ever since the beginning of the show: An opportunity to see the entire Mikaelson family of siblings together! Granted, we don’t imagine that this reunion is going to be stuffed full of stories all about new pie recipes or reminiscing on old parties from many years ago.
As executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci lay out in the new video below via The CW, the biggest goal for Klaus is trying to convince Finn and Kol that regardless of whatever his mother has said or promised, this is not a kind woman at all. As a matter of fact, she is basically the sort who will find a way to destroy them all.
We suppose that one of the biggest slices of evidence that Klaus could have of this very thing is simply what Esther has been working on this entire time, which is planning to find Rebekah and use her for her own specific purposes.
In many ways, this is the episode that you have been waiting for, but at the same time this is not the only episode that is going to further along the story of Rebekah, and also what Esther’s ultimate endgame here is going to be as she gets closer to making her move.
