‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: An epic winter finale tease

Should you be worried about the winter finale of “Once Upon a Time”? We’re starting to feel like it, at least based on what the showrunners are saying about this super-important episode, which has two goals: Closing the door on “Frozen,” and also saying hello to whatever lies ahead.

This tease comes courtesy of TVLine, and as mentioned, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are at the center of it. We don’t want to waste any further time, so let’s just go ahead and take you right to what the guys are saying:

“Two of the show’s most beloved relationships will be tested and changed forever as Storybrooke says goodbye to some of their own … In the Enchanted Forest, things gets classically evil as we face off against an embarrassment of witches.”

Here are a few questions that we’re personally going to be pondering after seeing this tease.

1. Are Horowitz and Kitsis referring to “saying goodbye” to Anna and Elsa, or someone a little more important to the show’s long-term history?

2. Are the “embarrassment of witches” Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and the recently-cast Ursula?

3. Why would Cruella be in a fairy-tale world, unless she is from that same universe that Dr. Whale is? That wouldn’t even make a whole lot of sense, but it’s more likely than her being in an Enchanted Forest.

4. Can we have more Dr. Whale, please? Sorry, but the last question made us miss him.

Is there anything that you want to see on the winter finale, other than the obvious end of one story and beginning of another? Let us know today.
