‘Justified’ season 6, ‘The Americans’ season 3 premiere, ‘American Horror Story’ finale dates revealed
FX was rather busy this afternoon when it comes to scheduling, as the network revealed some of the important dates to keep track of moving into the near future.
First of all, let’s start when it comes to the premieres. The sixth and final season of “Justified” will begin on Tuesday, January 20 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, which is probably around when everyone thought the show would begin. The excellent series has a chance to tell the final chapter of Raylan and Boyd’s journey in epic fashion, and we have to hope that they don’t disappoint along the way. So long as it is similar to “Sons of Anarchy,” we probably will be pretty darn happy.
Meanwhile, season 3 of another excellent series in “The Americans” will be kicking off on Wednesday, January 28. Maybe this will be the season when the viewership picks up? In the midst of so many other “dramatic plot twists,” this would be the one that actually excited us the most in the event that it happened.
On the FXX front, the new season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” will be on the air come Wednesday, January 14. What’s interesting to us about this show at this point is that it is almost like the live-action “South Park.” Even though it’s been on the air forever, it almost always feels fresh.
Finally, let’s go back to FX for a key finale date: Wednesday, January 21. That is when “American Horror Story: Freak Show” comes to a close. The show will have a brief hiatus for the Christmas holiday, but should be back on early in January to get things going again.
Of course, we’ll have some further updates on all of these shows in the near future, so be sure to come back for some news on that!
