‘How to Get Away with Murder’ episode 10 preview: Viola Davis’ 2015 return date and more

Tonight, “How to Get Away with Murder” aired a winter finale for ABC that was stuffed full of drama, but also a few surprises that we feel like you almost surely did not see coming.

For example, who thought that Sam would be murdered in the way that he was specifically, or that we would see Keating begging to stick with him despite everything that he had done? Even figuring how Bonnie and Asher’s trajectory was somewhat of a shock.

Now, we have to look ahead to the future. January 29 is the official return date for the series to the next, where it is going to air the final six episodes of the season over five weeks. Why only 15 episodes for a first season? As you may have heard previously, Viola Davis may have a contract provision that limits the episode count, that way she can continue to take on some other endeavors.

As envision as a whole the biggest challenge for the series simply being trying in a way to top what was one of the biggest stunners that we’ve seen on the show to date: Annalise knew that Wes killed Sam. She can therefore help with the cover-up, but at the same time, she has only told Wes about her knowledge, and we haven’t seen him say anything else.

This is going to get very complicated, but if you are a major fan of the show, then we imagine that you probably do not mind very much.
