‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6, episode 8 preview: Boss on big Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder scenes

There is going to be a part of Thursday night’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” that carries with it a Thanksgiving theme, and it doesn’t quite matter whether you are talking about the men or the women in this story.

With this being said, it does feel for the time being like the men are the ones engrossed with a pretty crazy mission of their own: Trying to figure out whether or not there is a way to track down Bonnie, after her teddy bear managed to transfer over from the past world created for Kai to the present.

In the video below, you can see executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries spend a few minutes discussing some of the various components of this story, and how there are going to be some very funny moments for Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Alaric (Matt Davis) as the three are on a road trip like no other, having one of the most uncomfortable Thanksgivings ever. While they may find out a few more clues right now in regards to Bonnie’s whereabouts, we would be very surprised if that story is completely tied up by the end of this episode. That seems better suited for the fall finale, which will air a couple of weeks into December.

So what is going on for some of the female characters on “The Vampire Diaries”? Let’s just say that you can expect to see the having a “Friendsgiving” of their own, where they try to find a way to enjoy the holiday despite all the surrounding craziness.
