‘Longmire’ season 4 renewal: Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, more react

Before we start this “Longmire” news, we’ll give you a little look behind the curtain at our writing process. Ever since the news was first revealed recently that Netflix and Warner Horizon were close to making a deal, we were almost 100% confident that the show was coming back. This sort of report typically comes out to put pressure on all parties to make sure a deal gets done.

So for us, the past few days have been in a way more anxious than the many weeks before, just waiting for that big announcement to finally be made. Well, it has now! The fourth season is coming to Netflix next year, and you can read up all about it right now over at the link here.

Since we’ve been hoping for so long to write this article, we want to make sure we give it its full due. Therefore, we’ve assembled some reactions from “Longmire’s” stars and also the author of the books in Craig Johnson, which you an see below.

In some ways, there is just as much fun that begins right now. We’ll be getting a chance to actually talk about “Longmire” the story again, since we don’t feel like we have really done that in months since our focus was more on the campaign. Hopefully, we’ll also get a chance to share some castings and story scoop along the way.

We’ll continue to do episode reviews, as well. While we’re not 100% sure how we will do it yet (we’re still getting used to the Netflix model from a journalistic standpoint), we may do something where we review an episode a day until it is over.

So for now, join us in celebrating the great news! The journey for “Longmire” is far from over.
