‘Glee’ season 6: Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, Amber Riley take part in promotional shoot

While this is not something related to “Glee” spoilers, what we have for you right now is something that you should be equally pleased to see: The official photo shoot for some of the cast members!

If you look below, you can see a quick tease of the event courtesy of Lea Michele’s Twitter feed. This photo specifically features herself as Rachel alongside Chord Overstreet (Sam), Amber Riley (Mercedes), and Kevin McHale (Artie). These three people are all longtime original cast members for the show, and you are hopefully going to see plenty of all of them throughout the show this season.

If there is one thing that we can really hope for from the sixth season, it is a sense of closure, but also some fun, laughter, and heartfelt moments along the way. The premise of it is also thankfully going to touch back on where the journey started, and that is a small high school in Ohio that needs help. We don’t think the show is sacrificing the rest of these characters’ lives in order for them to help a glee club, but this is a way to give back, while also looking forward at what could be for them at the same time. They all dove so quickly into the New York experience that they did not have a whole lot of time to breathe.

The fact that the promotional photo shoot has now happened means that “Glee” most likely near the end of its road. The next new season is going to air on Fox most likely in early 2015.
