‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Is someone on Coulson’s team in trouble?

It is not easy at all to be a member of SHIELD sometimes, especially when you have to face off against rather villains, Hydra, and even at times the government.

Unfortunately, there’s also a little problem here in that you do have to do make terrible choices sometimes in order to help others survive. The ninth episode of this “Agents of SHIELD” season, airing on December 2 and entitled “…Ye Who Enter Here,” could be an example of some of what we’re talking about. While the good news here, per the official synopsis, is that the search for the ancient city is not going to be milked beyond all measure of decency, the bad news is that we could see a character go down in a blaze of glory in the process:

“SHIELD discovers the ancient city before Hydra, but uncovering the secrets may require one of Coulson’s team to make the ultimate sacrifice. Meanwhile, May and Skye race to get to Raina before Whitehall takes her.”

As for who we feel is at risk right now, we basically feel like anyone not mentioned in this synopsis could be. Clark Gregg’s the star of the show, and therefore, he is probably going to be fine.

As for guest stars, we’ve got yet another one coming featuring Adrianne Palicki is Bobby Morse / Mockingbird, and to go along with that, we also got another appearance from Patton Oswalt! We basically feel like Patton is one of the best TV guest stars anyone could ask for, and anytime that you have him appearing on your show is a cause for great celebration.
