‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 7 preview: Can Dell be stopped?

One of the symptoms of having a very large cast is that sometimes, not everyone on the show really gets an opportunity to shine.

For most of “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” one character who tends to flutter in and out of the equation is Dell. We don’t even entirely know how important this character really is to the show as a whole, other than that he has a terrible temper, and the last time we really saw him, it was with Matt Bomer (but before Dandy came and cut the character up into pieces).

So what could he do this time around that is so terrible that everyone at the freak show turns on them? There is really only one answer that the promo below, coupled with our knowledge of the show right now, suggests: He must go after one of their own. This is a very tight-knit bunch, and for good reason. When there are so few like you in the world, you tend to try to make a community.

Dell is not the only significant threat that the freak show residents are going to be facing within the span of this episode. Also, you have to worry about Stanley. While Maggie doesn’t seem to be completely obsessed with fulfilling his mission, she is stuck between a rock and a hard place. This could mean saying goodbye to at least one or two of the beloved characters we met over the course of the season.
