‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4, episode 13 (finale) spoilers: Where does Cullen Bohannon go from here?

Hell on Wheels -Next week, the journey of “Hell on Wheels” is going to come to a close for now, and it will be doing so with an episode that could place something front and center that has not been for a time: The railroad. The title here is “Further West,” and that lone gives you a significant reference point to what the story is going to be about: The journey for the railroad, and a possible journey for Cullen.

The twist here is mostly that we are talking here all about a journey for Anson Mount’s character that may not include the railroad, given that he made the move to quit at the end of tonight’s “Thirteen Steps” following the death of Ruth. Instead, he looks to spend some time once again with his family.

There may not be a whole lot known about this installment for the particular time being, but you may still find the official synopsis below to be at least reasonably illuminating:

“As the railroad prepares to leave Cheyenne behind in the Season 4 finale, Cullen returns to Fort Smith to retrieve his family.”

While Cullen and the series’ direction right now is relatively unclear, the one thing that we do know is that there is going to be a final season for the show of 14 episodes, which is going to be broken up into two halves. The first part of it is going to air come the fall of next year, while the show will eventually conclude in 2016.
