‘Homeland’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Carrie warns Quinn about trouble
Is there something strange about Quinn asking Carrie on “Homeland” where she’s been, when it is pretty obvious that she is sitting on a hospital bed? It’s a little bit odd, but this is ultimately the world that the Showtime series has thrust us into.
Also, it is thrown us into a very dangerous situation where there may be a breach at the embassy, and not a whole lot that Carrie can do about it given her present situation. That is what throws so much urgency into the sneak-peek video below featuring Claire Danes and Rupert Friend’s characters. This is certainly intense, and it does set the stage well for what could be a wonderful final four episodes of the show.
Of course, we still cannot help ourselves from wondering whether or not we are any closer to seeing these characters get together now than we were back when the show first started up this season. While we cannot say definitively that they are now the official “will they or won’t they?” pair of the show, there are at least some feelings there. The question we find ourselves mostly wondering right now is how in the world someone like Quinn is able to gravitate towards Carrie, given that she has done some very terrible things just this season, and is not at times particularly remorseful.
Also, there’s one other thing we have to hope for from this season moving forward: No more Brody. We thought that we were already past that.
