‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: On Jane, Lisbon, and suspicion
We’ve been raving just about every week about the opportunity to have so much news on “The Mentalist,” and today the embarrassment of riches continues with yet another story!
This time, the focus is once again on Jane and Lisbon, but also some external factors that may be starting to weigh in on their relationship. According to an Entertainment Weekly report, the upcoming premiere entitled “Nothing but Blue Skies” is going to do a little bit more than just show you that Simon Baker and Robin Tunney’s characters are still together two weeks after that incident on the airplane.
At least one character the two parties are working with is going to start to become a little bit suspicious of what is going on between the two … and we personally hope very much that this someone is Cho. After all, he is really the only other character left who has been around since nearly the beginning of the series, so he has experienced just about all of the highs and lows. Therefore, he would really notice the big difference if these two start behaving in a somewhat-different way.
Meanwhile, we know already that this episode is going to feature the return of “Game of Thrones” alum Pedro Pascal as Agent Pike, otherwise known as an extremely upset man trying to deal with the fact that his girlfriend left him for someone else. In looking at things from his perspective, this has to be really awful thinking that your girlfriend is going to be making the move with you to Washington DC.
