ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 video: Joshua Malina sends Jimmy Kimmel greetings from Kerry Washington, cast

While you may have to wait still until next week in order to see the winter finale for “Scandal” season 4, the good news is that you don’t have to wait very long at all to see some of the cast members show off some of their funny side.

In the video below, you can see series star Joshua Malina (otherwise known as David Rosen) announce to Jimmy Kimmel on his show that for his birthday, he had many of his co-stars tape warm, lovely birthday greetings for him. What is the twist? Basically, that he edited together little clips of all of them sending off well-wishes in order to make them sound completely silly and inappropriate.

Of course, it’s fine if you want to question the validity of the gag, or a situation where Katie Lowes would be randomly talking about ecstasy during a message about a birthday. That’s not really the point of this. Instead, it is meant more to be just a random bout of silly fun, and a nice reminder that the majority of the cast is willing to mock themselves on a pretty regular basis.

Then again, we imagine that in order be on a show that is this dramatic and insane the majority of the time, you really do need to have a tremendous sense of humor.

We’re going to have a whole lot more in the way of “Scandal” updates before the winter finale, but we doubt any of them will be as funny as this one is.
