ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Tommy Flanagan scores big arc
Well, it certainly did not take Tommy Flanagan very much time to land his first major gig after “Sons of Anarchy.”
According to a report from TVLine, the actor, who you know best for his take on SAMCRO member (and Jarry’s lover) Chibs, has signed up for ABC’s “Revenge” in a role that may be extremely important to the entire second half of the season. Specifically, he will play Malcolm Black, a “high-functioning psychopath” who is probably the last person you ever want to tick off. If you do something that bothers or offends him, he is going to figure out a way to come back after you in pretty grand fashion.
Flanagan’s first appearance on the show will come in the midseason premiere, though there is not an official date just yet as for when that will be. His role is described as pretty significant, which to us means that he will most likely be around for the second part of the season.
Many actors from “Sons of Anarchy” are probably going to be gravitating over to some other roles at some point in the near future. Charlie Hunnam obviously has movies coming up, but we expect many other cast members to find their way onto some other series. Maybe a few of them manage to get on board Kurt Sutter’s next show entitled “The Bastard Executioner,” but it is far too early to really talk about casting for that. Plus, many of them have chances to do other jobs long before that show would even come on the air.
For now, what do you think about the Flanagan casting here? Let us know now with a comment.
