‘How to Get Away with Murder’ winter finale spoilers: Will Bonnie stay away for long?

During Thursday night’s new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” we saw many a big revelation, but for Bonnie, none of them was bigger than seeing Annalise metaphorically hand her a pink slip. She is now reeling from that, while Viola Davis’ character has some major problems of her own … especially in terms of whether or not her husband Sam murdered Lila Stangard after realizing that she was pregnant.

Is Bonnie going to continue to be there fore Keating moving forward? That’s a difficult question given the changing circumstances, but speaking to Entertainment Weekly, actress Liza Weil does make it pretty clear that the events last night do set up some of the surprising places you see her during the episode next week:

“She desperately wants to be Annalise’s person, but it’s not the same … Getting fired is a trigger. Where she goes from there definitely informs how she ended up with Asher.”

This upcoming episode looks to have many different challenges to take on, with the biggest ones being learning who killed Lila, who killed Sam, and how these stories all converge to set up a huge final six episodes of the season. This show will return early next year, and we definitely expect there to be a few fireworks. Also, we would not be surprised if a few of these people start to pay the piper for some of their actions.
