ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: James Tupper hints at answers for David

How long will it be on “Revenge” before the world of David Clarke starts to be blown up? We know that a guy who plays this dumb most of the time probably is not at all, and this is one of the major stories that you can expect to see unfold on the next few weeks of the show.

James Tupper had been largely quiet since returning to the scene as the character in the present, but he promises that some big things are head. For some further updates on that, just take a look at what the actor had to say in a new interview with TVLine:

“Oh, you’re going to find out soon. It’s like peeling back the layers of an onion; every episode moving forward will reveal more of what happened. This Sunday, the FBI begins to investigate more of David’s history. You’ll find out more about the surveillance photos from last week and what he’s been up to. David and Emily finally also acknowledge each other as father and daughter for the first time. He finally gets to tell her how he feels about her past actions, how she’s taken revenge. I think it’ll be shocking for the fans.”

The biggest thing that we are probably the most excited about when it comes to David’s story is that even though he and Emily are now fully aware of who one another really is, it’s not so happy-go-lucky as you would have first thought. It is complicated, and that is part of what adds that other layer of complexity into the mix.
