‘The Fall’ season 2, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Jamie Dornan, cast?
Tonight, BBC Two featured the return of one of its most-intense new series in “The Fall,” and it was one that showed Paul Spector doing everything that he can to keep his delicate house of cards from crumbling. This including him trying to desperately squelch concerns, and keep his personal life together in the process.
Next week, the real issue is going to be for Rose Stagg, who realizes that Paul has figured out just what she was up to with the police. In turn, this only makes matters even more intense for Gibson, who wants to do just about everything that she can in order to ensure that Rose is okay.
The BBC already released an official synopsis for this episode, and you can take a look at ti below:
“As Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) drives Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) away from her home in the middle of the night, her worst fears are realised when Spector tells her that he knows she went to the police. With Rose missing, the pressure being brought to bear on the police investigation increases. Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is forced to face the fact that her words have tipped Spector off about Rose, making her even more desperate to save Rose and catch the killer.”
Given that “The Fall” has itself a pretty short season, this is a storyline that is going to have to revolve very quickly. Let’s just hope in the process that it delivers on everything that we’re hoping for and then some. The pace may be slow, but the payoff could be worthwhile.
