‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: More details on Claire Holt’s Rebekah, ‘The Map of Moments’
If you are a particularly big fan of the Rebekah character on “The Originals,” then we would say that “The Map of Moments” is one upcoming episode that you really should take some stock in.
Is this December 8 episode going to revolve around Christmas? While we’re not quite sure that we would say that just yet, we can at least give you that one of the themes will be a Mikaelson family tradition that has stretched back centuries. The CW released a very-short synopsis for this hour today, and you can take a look at that below:
“After reuniting with her brothers, Rebekah (Claire Holt) convinces Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to participate in a family tradition from their childhood.”
Personally, we’re just glad to see more Rebekah. We know that she will be back on the show in part thanks to Esther, who seeks her out and leaves her with very few places to run. Due to that, it’s better in a way to be back in the eye of the storm, and with her brothers close by.
Are we really going to see a whole lot of Rebekah long-term? We’re a little more doubtful of that. She’s not a series regular, and there may be other opportunities that she wants to go seek now that she has the freedom to do so. While we would prefer her around all of the time, a few appearances here and there are ultimately better than no appearances at all.

Would love for Elijah to be cured from the spell of his crazy mother put on him. Being Elijah and Haley fan would love for them to share a good moment this season- but I am doubtful of that. And no love triangles between brothers. And I love the bonding of Elijah and Haley
