‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: What to expect from Simon Baker, cast in ‘The Greybar Hotel’

If you’ve been checking out some stories on the internet lately, then you may know already that the second episode of “The Mentalist” season 7 is going to be a big one for the Teresa Lisbon character. After all, she is going to be taking a page out of every single “character goes to prison” storyline out there!

If you look over here, you can see photographic proof that Robin Tunney’s character is not going to be wearing anything remotely as glamorous as what she has on the picture attached to this article. This episode, which airs on December 7, is entitled “The Greybar Hotel.” CBS just unveiled some of the first official details all about it, and you can take a look at some of them in all of their glory below:

“Lisbon goes undercover as a prison inmate in order to get a convict to turn on her boyfriend, who is the leader of a high-end car theft ring.”

Not a whole lot to go on there, right? The Lisbon story is probably something that you could have assumed, given that it didn’t exactly seem likely she was just going to be heading off to prison for the heck of it. Simon Baker’s Patrick Jane is not even listed! Don’t worry, though; given that the title of the show is a reference to the character, there is virtually no way of denying him an appearance without driving a good percentage of the internet crazy. Nobody wants to do that, right?

There are only 13 episodes in this “final season” (at least on CBS), so every story has a little more weight. Remember that as you’re watching this one.
