ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 7 preview: Nathan Fillion’s Rick, Stana Katic’s Kate head ‘West’

Tonight, you had a chance to finally see the wedding on “Castle” you have long been waiting to see, but what is going to be coming up next? Obviously, the show is not over yet, and “Once Upon a Time in the West” could be a chance to see everyone have a little bit of fun.

The first thing that you should wonder, at least for now, is this: Is this really meant to be a honeymoon episode? The answer to that is “no.” More than anything else, you should consider this to be a mission, where Castle and Beckett are going to possible have a chance to have some moments similar to a honeymoon. There may not be that much time spent relaxing or having drinks, though. As the synopsis below teases, we’re going to get a chance to really see what happens when the two go undercover in an effort to solve a case:

“When Castle and Beckett learn that a murder victim may have been poisoned at an Old West-style resort, they visit the resort posing as newlyweds to uncover the truth.”

So even though this may not be the traditional honeymoon episode, at least you can count on this being a whole lot of fun. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are great at this sort of story that involves fancy costumes and fish-out-of-water settings, and maybe they will learn a thing or two about each other in the process.

Just don’t expect any big reveals about the Castle mystery from the premiere. That’s probably not going to surface again now until the fall finale.
