‘The Fall’ season 2 spoilers: Jamie Dornan, surveillance, and orders
We’ve been very lucky to have quite a bit of news on BBC Two’s “The Fall” prior to its premiere, and we have yet another slice now.
What we have for you below is the official synopsis for the third episode of the season, which will mark the midway point at around the time it concludes. This is airing on November 27, which happens to be Thanksgiving in America, not that this matters for those who are watching the series over on the UK. Eventually, this entire season will come onto Netflix, and then Americans can watch it virtually anytime that they want.
In going back to the synopsis, expect some more intense moments between Spector and Gibson, as their battle starts to become twisted, pointed, and problematic:
“Gibson (Gillian Anderson) orders extensive surveillance on Spector’s (Jamie Dornan’s) family, believing they will lead them to Paul, whose whereabouts remains unknown.
“As the search for Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) becomes ever more desperate with each passing hour, a near miss between Spector and Gibson makes their cat and mouse hunt personal. Spector, directing his fury at Gibson, trespasses into her private world, delighting in taunting and provoking her.”
What we’re going to be mostly curious about is what the synopsis for the finale will be like, given that this is a show whose future has to be in relative jeopardy. After all, Anderson has a series-regular role over on NBC’s “Hannibal,” while Dornan’s star is rising big-time courtesy of his “Fifty Shades of Grey” gig.
