‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Ichabod, Abbie, Katrina, and a succubus

Given how far we are now into the run of “Sleepy Hollow,” it is almost surprising just how little we have seen Ichabod, Abbie, and Katrina all operating in the same room together. The latter was at first locked away in purgatory, and then, she spent a good bit of time this season dealing with Headless.

So what can happen when the three actually have a chance to work together? Well, they hopefully can get some great stuff done. In the sneak peek below, they all combine their powers, Captain Planet-style, and determine that there may be a succubus on the loose in the town. The evidence seems to point to it, and the challenge that is going to come out of this will most-likely be trying to find a way to track this villain down, and then stop it once and for all in its tracks.

Just in case that is not enough of a reason for you to be excited for this episode, you are also going to get a pretty delightful dose of listening to Ichabod Crane use such phrases as “macking.” Who doesn’t love watching him start to understand the local dialect? This is probably made even funnier by the fact that only about 2% of the population probably still says “macking”. Everyone else has since moved on to a dozen or so other silly words.

This episode feels almost like it has a Monster of the Week component to it, and while we don’t want to see this sort of thing every week, there is a lot of fun that can come from it every now and then.
