‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Josh McDermitt, Gale Anne Hurd, Michael Cudlitz to chat ‘Self Help’
Love “The Walking Dead“? Love mullets? Then tonight’s episode of “Talking Dead” may very well be the cross-section of everything that you love.
The first thing that we can say is that tonight’s episode is definitely a much-watch just in terms of getting to hear about all aspects of the show. You have two actors in Josh McDermitt (the mullet man himself Eugene) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) who are both going to have big parts in “Self Help,” and then you also have executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, who knows both this show and a variety of other awesome properties backwards and forwards. We imagine that we’ll get a ton of behind-the-scenes talk tonight, and also some specific breakdowns of everything that we see in this particular episode.
What “Walking Dead” previews (see our photo one here) have shown so far is that “Self Help” is going to be an important episode for Abraham and company, as we continue to figure out whether or not they can really get Eugene to Washington, or if there will be more obstacles standing in their way. If we are going to see any of the other storylines tonight (Beth and Carol at the hospital, what’s going on with Rick and company), AMC and the producers are doing a good job of keeping it hush-hush.
The thing to us that is the most shocking is that we’re already halfway through the first part of this season. To think that we’ve had sixteen episodes a season for a while now, and yet for some reason it feels like the seasons are getting shorter and shorter. That’s probably just a compliment to the series itself.
Hopefully, we’ll have some more great news on “The Walking Dead” a little later tonight, so be sure to stay on the lookout for that. Also, you can get some other extensive TV updates from us by singing up for our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo via AMC.)
