‘The Fall’ season 2 spoilers: BBC announces premiere date for Jamie Dornan series
If there is one thing that we’ve come to learn about the BBC over the years, it is that they don’t like to give you much of a heads-up at all regarding when some of their shows are returning to the air. They did this recently with “Sherlock” season 4, and they are also doing this all over again today when it comes to “The Fall.”
The second season of their acclaimed drama series, which stars Gillian Anderson (“Hannibal,” “The X-Files”) and Jamie Dornan (“Fifty Shades of Grey”) is going to be premiering on Thursday, November 13 over on BBC Two. This means that those in Britain better prepare for another big season of drama, twists, and turns. American viewers will probably see the series turn up on Netflix at some point next year.
If you want to see a few more details about what to expect today, just take a look at the attached synopsis below:
“It has been ten days since Paul Spector told DSI Stella Gibson that she would never catch him. As Gibson tries in vain to help Spector’s surviving victim remember the identity of her attacker, Spector is forced to deal with the loose ends that he left behind in Belfast. His return to the city to discover that someone from his past has been helping police with their enquiries, forcing Spector to change his plans – with terrifying consequences.”
Let’s just hope that this new season is something that makes up for the long wait … and also is so good that you don’t mind waiting for a long time still. Given Dornan’s likely rise to superstardom that will come via the upcoming movie, the show’s future beyond this upcoming season is reasonably unclear.
Stay tuned; we are going to have more coverage of “The Fall” season 2 soon.
