‘The Amazing Race 25’ episode 7 preview: Sicily, and the 300th leg

“The Amazing Race” tends to celebrate its achievements a little differently than most other shows that are out there, but Friday night is a big achievement: The 300th leg of the race will be here. The fact that it is in a milestone 25th season of the show probably makes this even more of an achievement.

So what are the teams doing to celebrate? Going to Sicily, and doing something that does not exactly look like an easy task: Painting on the ceiling. The sneak peek below shows off Jim & Misti and Kym & Alli each trying to complete this, which we imagine may be a part of the Detour. Given their dominance over the course of the show so far, we also imagine that they are the first two teams there. (Pure speculation on our part.)

Given that the title here is “Pretty Fly For a Food Scientist,” we are imagining that Amy & Maya are going to make their presence felt in some way before this is over, also. This could end up being yet another non-elimination leg, and we’re almost willing to predict that since we have not seen one for a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot else that is clear from this preview as to what is going to happen, but we would put the #SweetScientists right now at the bottom of the power rankings along with wrestlers Brooke & Robbie. Tim & Te Jay probably also have their work cut out for them.

To us, our surprise will be if the cyclists, Jim & Misti, and Adam & Bethany are not the final teams in the running. They have been the strongest three by a mile.
