‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 10: What comes next after Jarry, Unser revelation
There are in some ways two separate worlds on “Sons of Anarchy” that are very much connected right now in SAMCRO and what is going on with Charming’s police force; however, they are each going about matters in their own way in the wake of what happened to Tara at Gemma’s hands.
For Jax, we’ve seen his rage boil over at Henry Lin and the Triad, and he basically set off a chain of events that led to August Marks’ people getting involved, capturing Bobby, and ultimately seeing him killed.
So while this killing spree continues, Jarry and Unser made some key revelations at roughly the same time that Jax suddenly became prepared to turn August over: Lin was not capable of killing Tara. He was too busy with the Las Vegas police.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the woman behind Charming’s latest cop and Chibs’ new love interest in Annabeth Gish made it clear that as a result of these events, everything that Jax and company think they know about that night is about to completely fall apart:
“That scene in particular is a crucial turning point because it reveals so much. I literally had to draw my own map so that I could coordinate all of where Dun was, where Lin was. It’s a huge turning point for the Charming Sheriff’s department: Last episode, s–t starts to unravel, but now the law is on to the unraveling and the truth is gonna be told.”
Admittedly, we at first wanted Gemma’s secret to come out early in the season, but the way that this story has built and progressed organically over time has really made the waiting worth it. Just imagine now the sense of chaos and panic that will come when Gemma can no longer hide from her truth.
