‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Anson Mount, cast detail final episodes
Come Saturday night, the days of waiting for new “Hell on Wheels” are finally done. We return with “Bleeding Kansas,” and hour that will reflect where the characters have gone since the beginning of the season, and also where they will go the rest of the way.
For Cullen Bohannon, he finds himself yet again at a crossroads, with the difference this time being with more life experience than ever behind him. He’s dealt with the loss of his best friend, the reappearance of a terrible person from his past, and the struggle to reconcile the part of his that is a railroad man with the part of him that wants to be there for Naomi and the pair’s child. Anson Mount is one of many cast members who speaks out in the new AMC video below, and he describes how these weighing factors in Cullen’s mind will ultimately come to a head.
Meanwhile, Kasha Kropinski says to expect to see a complete transformation of Ruth into a completely “dark” character. After the death of Ezra, she was placed into a precarious position, but she shows little to no desire to back down at all from shooting Sydney Show. She is prepared to live with the ramifications of what she did.
In the end, the biggest takeaways from this video are that there will be more characters this season who leave us, whether it is by death or by simply being left behind as the train keeps a-rollin’ forward. After all, and regardless of the decision Cullen makes, the completion of the railroad is always going to be front and center for this series. We will see more of this world explored, and we’ll just have to wait and see where the train finally stops.
