‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, ‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 return dates, ‘Agent Carter’ premiere set
ABC made sure today to spend quite a bit of time announcing some scheduling news, just to ensure that nobody out there is in the dark about some of their plans, or how they hope that their lineup will shake down over the course of the next several months.
Let us start here with the plans for January. While “Once Upon a Time” is on hiatus until Sunday, March 1, ABC is going to air new episodes of their musical “Galavant” in the 8:00 p.m. Eastern timeslot. This is a risky move, given that the show will have to compete against football and so much more in the weeks that are coming up.
Meanwhile, Marvel’s new ambitious “Agent Carter” will air the first of its eight episodes on Tuesday, January 6, and they will occupy that slot until “Agents of SHIELD” returns on March 3 to begin the rest of their season.
As for the Thursday-night lineup, we knew already that “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” and “How to Get Away with Murder” are going to all conclude their fall runs on November 20, and we’re hearing now that Thursday, January 29 will be when they all come back. We wouldn’t be shocked to see six episodes and then another short hiatus, and from there ABC can plug in a new show after the Kerry Washington drama. “How to Get Away with Murder” is only airing a 15-episode season, a move suspected to be necessitated by star Viola Davis’ contract allowing her to have time to pursue other shows.
What do you think about some of this news right now, and which of the new shows are you the most interested in seeing at present? Let us know some of your thoughts in the comments.

I think it would be better for How to Get Away with Murder to have a full season of 22 to 24 shows.
