‘Witches of East End’ season 3: Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston, more on cancellation

Witches of East End -If you are a “Witches of East End” fan, then we would not be surprised if you are still in some ways rocked by the show’s cancellation. Even with lower ratings for season 2, it came as a shock to us to see Lifetime ax the show, especially since it continues a less-than-fortunate trend lately of many of their series ending early. “The Client List” and “The Lottery” are two other examples of this.

For the most part, though, the cast members who are speaking out about this subject right now are choosing to stay fairly positive and reflective about their time on the show. It also feels like this is most-likely going to be it for the show, since we haven’t heard a whole lot of talk about it being shopped elsewhere just yet.

That doesn’t mean that the studio will not at least ask around, but as we noted in another article recently, the odds are fairly low of it getting picked up elsewhere. “Longmire” has yet to find a new home after its cancellation, and it at least could boast a significantly higher number of total viewers. While the show is fun, we are seeing more and more on cable a trend where networks like to claim a very large stake of ownership in what they have on the air.

So take a look at the messages from Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston, and Eric Winter below, and if nothing else, maybe these three, plus the rest of the cast, will find a new series pretty soon. The major bummer here is to see the show end on a cliffhanger, and fans will long have to speculate the future for all of these characters.
