‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 9 reaction: Mark Boone Junior reacts to Bobby shocker

We really shouldn’t have to say this given the subject of this article, but still, here it is: If you have not seen Tuesday night’s new “Sons of Anarchy” yet, stop reading this right now.

Well, this proved itself to be one shocking episode, didn’t it? We not only had Gemma getting closer and closer to being undone, but we saw an end to Bobby after it was starting to look for a time like maybe he would be rescued. Unfortunately, it just didn’t happen.

Given his present state, though, did Bobby really want to die? It is an interesting question, but one Mark Boone Junior refuted in his post-episode interview on TVLine discussing the story as a whole:

“Come on, who needs two eyes and two hands? I had a good chunk of my hand. They didn’t take my thumb, and that’s all you need. There’s a lot of prosthetics these days. In fact, you can probably get a fake eye these days that works pretty well. Bobby would’ve preferred to be alive, yes. [Laughs] I am very sure that Bobby would have preferred to be alive.”

Like many other actors on the show, Mark has already moved on and is doing a variety of different things now, which include movies and a variety of other gigs. We’ll probably remember him best for this, though, and the heart and the passion that he brought to SAMCRO’s table. He had such a history with everyone, and we imagine however hard it is for us to imagine life without the show, it has to be even harder for those who are actually affiliated with it.
