‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Charlie Hunnam, Mark Boone Junior, ‘Faith and Despondency’
It may be strange to think, but there really are only four episodes left on “Sons of Anarchy” season 7. This means that things are going to advance at an even faster level, and more and more chips are going to start to fall.
Tonight’s episode ultimately began this trail of tragedy with the death of Bobby (Mark Boone Junior). This was a move so predictable it was almost unpredictable that it happened, and this makes the story moving into next week’s “Faith and Despondency” almost desperate. You saw that when Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) decided to turn in August Marks to the police, opting to make that bold move to try to turn the fortunes of the club.
Unfortunately for Jax, this situation is long beyond saving. As Juice’s testimony has already been proven false and Jarry and Gemma have had it out, it’s only a matter of time before his world explodes with the truth about Tara at his feet. From that point on, it is strictly a question of what he is going to do, and how he will move forward. He is already a broken man breaking others, and the situation is beyond repair.
As for our analysis of the episode’s title, “Faith and Despondency” is a poem by Emily Bronte, which you can read over at the link here. The “Anarchy Afterword” show makes it a little hard to gauge its precise length, but it will surely be at least 75 minutes.

The poem would suggest our young Abel Teller will play a big role next week.
