‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16, episode 6 preview: Benson uncovers a plan
On “Law & Order: SVU” Wednesday night, we are going to see yet another case that has a certain tinge of creepiness to it. With that being said, at least the sneak-peek video below makes it clear that this episode really was meant to air after Halloween, after all. With all of the previews that we’d seen before now, we were starting to think that the show was mostly meant to be on the week before.
Basically, the three young women at the center of this case all traveled out to a creepy park at nighttime, believing that a myth about a spirit who haunted it the night after Halloween could come true. What they discovered was that there was something else terrible there … or someone else. The trial goes cold after this.
In the preview video, of course Benson, Amaro, and the rest of the SVU are desperate to try to solve the case in almost any way that they can. Unfortunately, the run into a pretty substantial problem in that they are light on officers due to a local marathon taking place. They have to piece together what they can, and hope that this all turns out to be okay in the end.
Basically, the clip below is classic “SVU”: Gathering information, and trying to make sense of something that on paper, is not entirely clear. From here, hopefully the story will build to a big reveal, and the attacker being put behind bars. After the last episode of the show, the SVU really needs a win.

I’m definitely looking forward to Wednesday night. Perhaps there will be an episode where all the main characters are in the show at the same time. It seems like each episode has been missing somebody. If anyone knows why that is happening, please write in. Most other shows don’t have this problem with such a small cast.
