‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Lola Saunders on Ben Haenow; more Stevi Ritchie, Chloe Jasmine scoop

We find the entire tour of the tabloids right now when it comes to “The X Factor” UK to be completely entertaining. It seems like in the absence of anything good to write about, the talent competition has instead resorted to reporting one sensational headline after the other, and most with the intention of crafting a great narrative.

One big example of this? The continued efforts to try to pair off Lola Saunders with other contestants on the show, despite her being in a committed relationship. We saw this with a member of Only the Young, and also with Ben Haenow.

Well, Lola herself took to Digital Spy to discuss the latter rumors, and cited Ben’s affection for her and others as just a part of his demeanor:

“We find it quite funny actually, because we were warned that something was coming out and we were just laughing because Ben’s a very tactile person …  If he walked in the room now, he’d come up to you and give you a massive kiss and a big hug. If he’s speaking to you, he’s always [touching your arm]. He’s such a lovely lad.”

Meanwhile … The tabloids are desperate to create one of the biggest narratives ever about Stevi Ritchie and Chloe Jasmine, regardless of the fact that neither has spent a whole lot of time talking about it save for one little package over the weekend.

It was only days ago when there were rumors about Chloe’s boyfriend breaking up with her over all the drama, and now The Sun is claiming that she told Stevi that she loved him, and there were more complications with all of that. Given the track record, we don’t know what to believe. The only thing we’re confident in saying is that Stevi did seem to like here when some of the stories came out.
