ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic scoop for honeymoon episode

Let us start this “Castle” story with the bad news, mostly because it is probably better to get this over with now than allowing it to dwell for some time: There is no new episode airing on ABC Monday night.

What’s the primary reason for that? It is simple: ABC is airing a CMA special, and they are waiting until next week to launch into the “Castle” wedding and so much more with the episode “Time of Our Lives.” We’re here today with some further details on “Once Upon a Time in the West,” which is the episode airing two weeks from today that, in some ways, is going to constitute a honeymoon for Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters. However, it does look like they are going to be forced to mix business with pleasure. Just take a look at the attached synopsis right now:

“When Castle and Beckett learn that a murder victim may have been poisoned at an Old West-style resort, they visit the resort posing as newlyweds to uncover the truth.”

To us, this sounds very fun, and we are almost positive that it will be. This is the episode that should give you something to enjoy before the series eventually gets back into more serious fare. We cannot imagine that the primary storyline for Castle will remain dormant for the rest of the year, since that wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why bring it up in the first place if you are going to spend so much time moving forward ignoring it?
