‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ episode 5 preview: How long is ‘Pink Cupcakes’?
Stop us when this sounds familiar: “American Horror Story: Freak Show” is going to run longer than its standard hour-long running time when it airs on Wednesday night.
Specifically, be sure to set your DVRs for around six or seven minutes beyond the hour. “Pink Cupcakes,” which marks the debut of Matt Bomer on the show, This episode will be around two or three minutes longer than the second part of “Edward Mordrake,” and clearly has quite a bit that it is bringing to the table. For example, it has to try and tie together the story that aired the prior week, establish Dandy Mott as more of an interesting villain, and give us the latest in regards to character progression.
One other villain who is clearly going to establish himself in here is Stanley (Denis O’Hare), a con man who alongside Maggie (Emma Roberts) is working to capture as many people from the freak show as possible for his museum. In particular, Bette and Dot are his biggest targets, and poisoning the two of them seems to be for now one of his most-paramount goals.
We are going to have some further news coming up when it comes to this episode, including what your expectations should be for at least a few of the characters. Stay tuned! The one thing that we’re hoping for above all else is no more character deaths. We don’t want to see anyone else go!
