‘Homeland’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Are Carrie, Saul in grave danger?

Have you already been completely engrossed in “Homeland” season 4? Well, you are going to get a chance to dive even deeper into this complicated story during the new episode airing on Showtime next week.

The entire focus of this particular hour of TV is going to be Carrie putting her entire plan into motion, which we assume is going to be extremely complicated. Is Carrie’s capture going to be something that is completely planned, or something expected? That’s the hard thing about watching a show like this, where you are witnessing something that is superficially described as “danger.” Just remember here that it was only a season ago that the writers / producers pulled off one of their most elaborate “magic tricks,” as the show decided that it could be a great idea to make you think that Carrie and Saul were getting completely duped. In reality, they were the ones being the tricksters, and we as viewers  were for the most part the victims.

Ultimately, we will believe everything on this show when we see it, but the promo below does at least give us a little more insight that “Homeland” still knows how to put on one heck of a visual spectacle. From start to finish, there is an awful lot going on here, and the vast majority of it happens to be content that we very much enjoy watching.
