‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 6 preview: Why is Sam getting arrested?

NCIS Los AngelesMonday night’s new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” is entitled “SEAL Hunter,” and there is a reason to be worried already if you are a fan of Sam’s. After all, the sneak peek below shows the character being arrested!

Following a pretty funny little scene featuring LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell (who also directed this episode), Sam is pulled over, surrounded by authorities for the FBI, and told to get out of the car, and then to put his hands behind his head. Supposedly, he has murdered someone, and Hetty tells him that they are in a position where they must cooperate for the time being.

Do we really think that Sam is capable of something this terrible? Not really, but we never really would. This is instead just a common TV trope for a crime show. There is always an episode where one of the main characters is arrested for a crime they did not commit, and then everyone else has to figure out how in the world to clear their name. This is something that “Castle” previously took on, and they are only one of many shows who have.

Even if this is a pretty predictable storyline, there is probably quite a bit to like in here still, provided that you are into the Sam character and do want to figure out a thing or two about how some of the characters all react to this sort of crazy situation.

We’re going to have some further coverage of this episode coming up very soon, so be sure to be on the lookout for that.
