‘Supernatural’ 200th episode spoilers: Cryptic Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles teases

There are episodes of a show so chocking that the writers want to keep everything a secret, and then there are episodes that are so fun that finding out these secrets would ruin everything.

For the 200th episode of “Supernatural,” so much of the story is tied into the latter. All we know is that Sam and Dean are going to witness a production-of-sorts of stories that are really based on their lives, so it is a chance to relive part of their past in the present … with a twist.

Jared Padalecki was asked by Entertainment Weekly to describe the story, and he responded with the following message:

“Meta-fans are kind of saluting Sam and Dean, which allows them to kind of salute back … It’s walking into a theater and seeing your life in pictures before you, but it’s from the perspective of the fans of the series.”

What Jensen Ackles had to say is just as interesting, since it is further confirmation that despite being regulars, Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard are sitting this one out:

“[Jared] and I are the only men in the whole episode, save one person.”

We have a few theories already about who this mystery person could end up being, but without giving away everything right now, we’d say that it has to be someone with a huge history on the show, and also someone with a supremely important purpose in the universe. While we’d like see the likes of Kevin or Bobby, we don’t know how you could justify one of them showing up or not any of the other similar recurring players.
