‘Major Crimes’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Awkward,’ ‘Parks and Recreation’ actor gets key role

Major Crimes -The third season of “Major Crimes” is going to be coming back to TV later this year, and with the knowledge now about a certain Phillip Stroh coming back for the final episodes, we know that there are some very crazy storylines ahead.

How could Tuc Watkins fit into the mix here? That’s what we are currently waiting to try and figure out. Per TVLine, the former “Desperate Housewives,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Awkward” actor will play in the final episodes in the role of a Special Master, a judge who helps Stroh (who is apparently going to represent himself in court) navigate through his legal files. If he is able to give up information on some active sex offenders, Stroh may in turn be able to secure a lesser sentence for himself. Only time will tell.

The one thing that we know is that when it comes to this Stroh storyline, “Major Crimes” is not going to be messing around. This is a story that has been around since “The Closer,” and they’ve had to wait on resolving it for a long time thanks to Billy Burke’s other recent commitments on “Revolution.” That show was canceled by NBC after two seasons, so he has a little more time in order to figure all of this out.

While “Major Crimes” will be returning to the air sooner rather than later, one thing that we do know for sure is that you’re not going to see all of this story play out until early 2015. With that in mind, let us just hope that you are of the particularly patient variety.
