ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 6 spoilers: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, and wedding episode details

Last night after the “Castle” episode entitled “Meme Is Murder,” the show let you in finally on the big sort-of secret: The big wedding episode featuring Castle and Beckett is on the horizon.

There’s no new episode on ABC next week, but following that, we are going to have “Time of Our Lives,” which seems to be everything from a murder investigation to a what-if story to also the big ceremony for Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters that you’ve long been waiting for, even if there are not many answers just yet about what in the world happened to Rick that caused him to lose much of his memory. It’s all a little like a soap opera, but it’s TV. It’s hard to be that upset when we are getting in the end so much of what we want.

After releasing the promo, ABC unveiled the official synopsis for the hour today. Be sure to take a look at it below:

“A murder investigation launches Castle into what seems to be an alternate universe where he’s never met Kate Beckett. Castle has to convince Beckett, Esposito and Ryan — now complete strangers — to let him participate in their investigation so he can find his way back to his own world. This inspires Castle & Beckett to finally take a trip to the altar.”

We view wedding episodes a little bit differently than series finales, where we feel like it is almost impossible to please everyone. It’s not that hard to make people happy with a wedding; just make sure that you add a little bit of romance, you show the two characters in love, and it is just not a cookie-cutter wedding. So long as you do that, we feel like you’re going to have happy viewers.
