‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: More Adrianne Palicki; Coulson’s secrets revealed

ABC may be secretive about some of the stories that lie ahead on Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” but they were at least kind enough today to drop a few more hints about the upcoming “The Writing on the Wall” to confirm many fan theories floating around the internet.

First of all, note that you’ll be waiting for a while to see it. There is no new episode on ABC a week from tomorrow, so “A Fractured House” will have to keep you satisfied for two days rather than the customary one. Hopefully, this story will do enough to keep you invested. Just take a look now at the short synopsis below:

“The team discovers murder victims with the alien glyphs on them that Coulson’s been etching. All of Coulson’s secrets and lies come to a head.”

Finally, we’re going to get some answers about Coulson slowly losing his mind, but also him being called out a little bit over the mysterious writing. Huzzah!

While it wasn’t listed in the synopsis, we can confirm via the guest casting that you are once again going to see Adrianne Palicki in here as Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird. This marks three straight episode for her, given that she will also be in “A Fractured House” to go along with her debut last week.

Can we hope for a series-regular promotion at some point? Sure, but the operating word in there really is “hope.” It’s hard to say if that is ever actually going to happen.
