‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Stevi Ritchie, Louis Tomlinson, Stereo Kicks, and Jake Quickenden

Stevi Ritchie -There were many stories that came about through this weekend of shows on “The X Factor,” but from our estimation, none were anywhere near as hilarious as seeing the bizarre bromance form between Simon Cowell and Stevi Ritchie. Stevi’s not exactly a good singer, but he’s so self-deprecating and funny that he has won over Britain regardless. He’s like the polar opposite of Christopher Maloney.

During the back-and-forth after Stevi’s recent “Footloose,” an elaborate inside joke began about Stevi and Simon Cowell going to hang out at Harvester. We’re not in Britain, so we’ve never been to one of these places. Still, this led to Louis Tomlinson of One Direction getting roped in to it, and even he is down to party at the food establishment.

Stereo Kicks’ next song – For those wondering, it looks like the eight-piece band already has their next song picked out for the upcoming Halloween show! To us, that is great news, since it keeps them from being in a disaster situation where they are having to learn something at the last minute.

Jake Quickenden’s final words – Well, at least his final words when it comes to the show. Jake had a nice little run on the show and seems to be a very nice, very popular guy in the house. We actually do think he has a future, but it may be in modeling more than singing. Still, that’s not a bad thing; Rylan Clark ended up becoming a TV presenter thanks to being on the show, even though he came on as an aspiring singer.
