‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Talking ‘The Writing on the Wall’

As usual, Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” is keeping most of its cards close to vest when it comes to the upcoming episodes, but there is at least one thing that we can tell you right now: “The Writing on the Wall.”

Per a new report from SpoilerTV, this happens to be the title for the seventh episode of “Agents of SHIELD” season 2, and a very important one potentially given that we are entering the November sweeps. This is a time when the microscope is on many shows even more than it is the majority of time, and this series has to deal with taking on many of these expectations. Hopefully, it will meet all of the expectations that we have and then some, but we’ll see.

If we were to guess, we would imagine that the alien writing and some of what Phil Coulson is going through right now would be a primary storyline, mostly because that has been building slowly and surely over the course of the past several episodes. With that being said, it is very difficult to know where the series is going precisely given that we still have something to get through first in “A Fractured House.”

As those who study the show know, this episode will particularly revolve around SHIELD facing a major crisis after an incident at the UN is blamed on them. Are they going to find a way to handle this without major incident? We can only hope so, since HYDRA is very clearly up to some of their old dirty tricks once again!
