‘Gotham’ episode 6 preview: Will Bruce Wayne run and hide?

Monday night, “Gotham” has an all-new episode on the air entitled “Spirit of the Goat,” and it features a villain who is particularly threatening to a certain portion of the city’s population. Namely, we are talking about the first-born children of the wealthy.

This villain, known seemingly as the Goat, has this particular and terrifying plan of action, and he seems to already be sending a good percentage of the city into a tailspin. What’s a kid like Bruce Wayne to do?

In the new sneak peek video, we see “Master Bruce” receive a warning from Alfred that given the present circumstances, it may really behoove him to move away from Gotham City for a little while, that way he can stay safe from any potential attacker. However, Bruce responds with a fair point: There is no real value in taking him, given that he is not being taken away from anyone with his parents already dead. Plus, he still has quite a bit of work to do.

Are you surprised that there is a new episode of “Gotham” on the air at all, given the World Series? Well, the thing you have to remember here is that Monday marks a day off for baseball. Due to Game 5 being played tonight and some travel, Game 6 will air come Tuesday night, and if there is a need for a Game 7, it will come up the next night. This means that more or less, this is one of the few shows that got a chance to air without interruption of Fox this fall.
