‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 6 will get new ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ footage after leak

When we first saw that the trailer for “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” had leaked online earlier this week, the first thing that we did was feel very badly for the folks over at Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD.” After all, this was supposed to be a meal ticket of sorts towards getting some better ratings, and helping to offset not really getting a lot of buzz so far this season save for Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird.

Well, the folks at Marvel have still figured out a way to not leave fans of this particular show (or the movie) hanging. Per Zap2It, there is going to be some other footage not in the original trailer during the ABC series Tuesday night, though it is not clear if we are talking about anything substantial or not. It at least gives you a new reason to watch live if you really are the impatient sort. Let’s just hope for Marvel’s sake that this isn’t leaked again.

Also, ABC is going to air on November 4 a special entitled “Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop!,” and in this, there is also going to be even more new footage of the film, which brings back Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, and many other classic comic-book characters from the past films to battle Ultron, who is being voiced and performed via motion-capture via James Spader (“The Blacklist”).

So overall, now is a pretty good time to be a fan of watching Marvel products on TV. Of course, it’d be even better if there was a little bit of a larger audience taking part in it.
