‘Criminal Minds’ season 10 spoilers: JJ episode on the way
If there is one thing we’ve been hoping to see a little more of on “Criminal Minds” this season, it is some of the more individual character stories that separate this from the other shows out there. Sometimes, this show does get a little too mired in hyping up their latest UnSub, and the variety of evil things that they are capable of. Ten seasons in, we can say that this is starting to get a little old. Unless they are extremely special and different from the pack, we forget them a week or two later.
There is going to be another villain (of course!) in the upcoming sixth episode of this season entitled “If the Show Fits,” but what we are also interested in talking about now is the other part of the story, which marks an emotional return for JJ’s mother as she tackles some things that are not easy for anyone to handle: Tragedy. She may be used to seeing death thanks to her job, but rarely does it ever hit home quite like it will here.
For some further details on what you can expect, take a look at the attached synopsis below:
“The BAU is stumped to find the common denominator among male victims in Montana, making it difficult to profile the UnSub. Also, JJ must confront her feelings about her sister’s tragic death.”

So incredibly sick of JJ! The last thing we need is another episode dedicated to Erica Messer’s Mary Sue! She’s beyond redemption because we’re tired of having her in all her supposed-flawless-perfection crammed down our throats. Tired of watching her in every scene, doing everyone else’s job for them, when she’s the least qualified member of the team.
I don’t care how many ways they attempt to make her sympathetic or vulnerable. It’s no longer realistic watching her pretend to be smarter than Reid, wiser than Rossi, a better fighter than Morgan, more of the boss than Hotch. Able to hang by her arms and be tortured for three days, and still run up several flights of stairs and toss a man twice her size off the top of a building. All while maintaining perfect hair and flawless makeup. Give me a break!
It’s time for Mary Sue to go away. It’s past time to concentrate on the entire cast instead of pushing the talented actors into the background while the least-capable members of the ensemble take center-stage and attempt to make themselves relevant. Erica Messer needs to get over her girl-crush, or it’s time to replace her as showrunner.

What do I want, regarding that JJ episode?
I wish they wouldn’t film it, and I am planning on finding something else to watch that particular Wednesday.
I am fed up of JJ.
I though I would be dismayed by the inclusion of JLH, but I realised I don’t mind her at all, while last Wednesday, seeing JJ again all over the scenes just renewed my disgust for that character, and I would gladly take two or three centric JLH episodes than one of Mary Sue. She had almost the entire last season. Enough is enough.

Not another JJ episode. How about sharing the wealth? We were flooded during season nine with scene after scene of JJ. The writers have done their best to make JJ arrogant, a know-it-all and down right snotty. She isn’t pleasant to anyone, not even Will. By the way, Will is a wasted actor on this show.
Is this the writer’s attempt to make her seem more likeable? There are many of us around who feel it’s too late.
