Tonight, The CW truly returned to the realm of science fiction more than ever with the premiere of “The 100” season 2, an event that should be worth celebrating.
While tonight’s episode crammed a ton into a very short amount of time, that’s just the beginning for this underdog story’s second go-around. Next week, the series returns to The CW with a story entitled “Inclement Weather,” and one where most of these characters are going to have to worry about so much more than just the title of the show. We’ve got confrontations, interrogations, medical emergencies, and chances to see just how far Octavia is willing to go to make some of her missions into reality.
For some further details in terms of what you can expect, just take a look at the extended synopsis below via The CW:
“A suspicious Clarke (Eliza Taylor) confronts President Dante Wallace (guest star Raymond Barry) and demands answers. Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) interrogates one of The 100, and Abby (Paige Turco) performs emergency surgery. Meanwhile, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) resorts to violence to find Lincoln (Ricky Whittle).”
Now, the one thing we are looking forward to the most to go along with all of this information is another update on another important subject, and that is what in the world we will see with the ratings tomorrow. While the show performed well in the spring / early summer, this is a new challenge courtesy of a much wider programming slate, and also baseball airing over on Fox. Basically, there’s a lot of TV on the table.
