‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 6 preview: Jeff Probst’s demands; a fake idol
After tonight’s new episode of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” we knew that there was going to be some sort of big surprise coming in the way of Jeff Probst. Hunahpu needs rice, and there is a deal coming that could end up being more of a reckoning.
While we don’t know for certain what is going to happen with the new Hunahpu yet, Jeff made it clear in the preview for this upcoming episode that the price would be steep. We imagine that it could include much of their shelter going away, or something else to make life incredibly miserable for them. If this happens, this tribe could be in some ways screwed.
Speaking of people who are screwed, let’s look at Dale. The man is claiming to have a hidden immunity idol now, but we’re not sure how he plans to pull that off without going to Exile Island. Still, he knows that his back is against the wall, given that Missi and Baylor are going to be against him right away, and he doesn’t exactly have Jon and Jaclyn now, either.
Ultimately, we hope that this is an episode that starts to put the season back on track. We’ve found Kelley and Val to be likable, and they’re both gone while some other players left in the game are not the easiest to root for. Also, it stinks when people who know the game reasonably well like Kelley are being sent home well before it is their “time.”
