ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Nathan Fillion reunites with ‘Drive’ actor
Sometimes, you have casting news that are chock full of details; however, there are other times that you have very little to go on other than just a name.
On this occasion, we are dealing more with the latter. In a post on Twitter, Nathan Fillion confirmed that Paul Ben-Victor, who he worked with many years ago on the short-lived series “Drive,” is seemingly going to be appearing on a “Castle” season 7 episode. Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot else that is currently known about who he will be playing. Seemingly, the show should be getting near the end of the fall half of their season around this time, but given the way in which many scenes are filmed, it is sometimes pretty hard to figure out.
In case you are not too familiar with Ben-Victor, he had a major role for a time on USA’s long-running “In Plain Sight,” and he also recurred on CBS’ short-lived series “Vegas.” Even some fans of “True Detective” may recognize him for a small role that he had there on the Matthew McConaughey – Woody Harrelson HBO drama.
“Castle” is right now currently in a string of fun episodes that are probably meant to help offset some of the anguish suffered earlier this year, when the show had that painful cliffhanger where it was not entirely clear what happened to Fillion’s Rick. There were many an angry fan after that episode aired, but the show has very quickly managed to win many of those people over once again.
For now, feel free to share your thoughts on this potential good news with a comment, and head over here to watch a video preview for the next all-new episode of “Castle” right now! You can also sign up to get some further TV updates on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo via ABC.)
