‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 8 preview: Charlie Hunnam in ‘The Separation of Crows’
Is there a show better at giving you a fake-out than “Sons of Anarchy“? We went into tonight’s “Greensleeves” thinking that we were for certain going to see a character in Juice (Theo Rossi) meet the grim reaper.
Could that happen next week in “The Separation of Crows”? That’s still possible, given that Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) has sent him on a death-wish sort of mission to go to prison and kill Lin as a show of loyalty, with the help of Tully and the Aryan Brotherhood on the inside. This does not seem like it will end well at all, does it?
The person you really have to worry about now is Bobby (Mark Boone Junior), whose fate looks to be in serious jeopardy. Even if he does live, he’s probably going to be missing some body parts.
The synopsis for next week’s episode, via FX, more or less speaks for itself:
“A traitor is suspected as SAMCRO searches for a missing member.”
While we were able to provide some historical perspective on “Greensleeves” before tonight’s episode, the only thing that we can say about the title this time around, save for cheesy “Game of Thrones” references, is that crows are a frequent symbol of death and scavengers. We’d be worried.
Also, be advised that you’re going to need an extra cup of coffee if you’re waking up early the next morning; this is going to be yet another 90-minute episode.
